What are Fire Alarms?

In simple terms, a fire alarm works by issuing a signal in the form of a sound and an indication of a light on when the detector detects signs of fire such as fire, smoke, gas, or heat.

The main function of using a fire alarm is to detect early signs of fire and notify people around the scene to immediately take the necessary action.

How Do Fire Alarms Work?

The center of the fire alarm system is the Master Control Fire Alarm, or MCFA for short. The MCFA is connected to all fire alarm components.

Fire alarm detector, as one of the components in Fire Alarm, is always awake to detect signs of fire. When triggered, the detector will send a signal to the MCFA that signs of fire have been detected and then forward the signal to a siren that will emit a sound to warn people in the building to evacuate immediately and get out of the building.

The MCFA is connected to at least two electronic loudspeakers (Sirens), or other audible fire alarm devices (Strobes). It is this device that warns people in the building if a fire is detected.

The MCFA can also be set to simulate alarms used for fire drills and routine evacuations, so all your office staff know what action to take if a fire does occur.

What is Security Alarm?
Systems are designed to detect intrusions, such as people trespassing into buildings or other areas such as homes or schools. Security alarms are used to provide early warning and protect users from theft or damage to their property.

How do security alarms work?
The centre of the security system is the control panel. The control panel is the “brain” of the security alarm system and is connected to all components of the security alarm.

One of the components in the security system is a keypad, this tool is useful for activating and deactivating the security alarm system and all connected devices. The security alarm detector is a security alarm component that is always awake to detect signs of crime. When triggered, the detector will send a signal to the control panel to confirm that signs of crime are detected and then forward the signal to a siren which will emit a sound to attract attention around the building and give a fear effect to criminals who want to enter your building without permission. In addition, the warning of the occurrence of the crime can also be forwarded to your smartphone!
